WWUp Stage2&3:Jam @ In.cube8r

Firstly- thanks to Ellie May @ in.cube8r for embracing the concept and inviting and unknown audio assault on stage at the premises!

A bit of a random number for ya.. <^>

David Kirk and Elena Gonzalez came to both events at In.cube8r and were foundational in the finale back at BSG. Both skilled, professional and open minded and quickly became good friends.. Marnie was also in Melbourne from Adelaide for the first session and was awesome! So we made the most of it, jamming/ exploring/ performing/ recording!!! Hours of film across the 6 jam hours of these two events.

We promoted the jam invite for the events to musicians beyond genres as broadly as possible in Melbourne and the Fitzroy region. No radio or newspapers engaged, so with no cash to promote hit the internet gig guides, music groups, music schools etc and printed fliers and put them up and down establishments on Smith and Brunswick Street.

These jams were not hugely attended though the invite to jam was spread as widely as could. Other people rocked up and played, but the above mentioned were the foundation and in effect forged the solid musical core for the finale jam exhibit back at Brunswick Street Gallery on April 27th. So that whatever happened- we knew we could put on a good show!

Cheers also to Arc and Luna for your occasional participation and moral support 😛
